Last week I headed off to one of the coolest events I’ve been to – the launch of ORGNL.TV, an editorial channel highlighting emerging talent in the areas of fashion, music, art, technology and taste. Backed by the world famous Stoli Vodka, 300 guests certainly had a night to remember.
The location of the event was a secret until the day before, and it was awesome trying to find out exactly where the event was. So secretive, when I arrived, I actually walked straight past the entry! Held in and underground warehouse in Surry Hills, I don’t think any of the guests knew what to expect.
After being directed down a flight of stairs, guests were greeted with a huge room, dimly lit by red lights. With neon ‘Stoli’ lights dotted everywhere, vintage furniture and mannequins all over the place and an awesome DJ and sound system set up at the back, the venue was packed and the party in full swing.
We were treated to a delicious menu of mini burgers, mac n’ cheese and prawn cocktails and naturally sipped on unique Stoli cocktails. With 5 to choose from, each cocktail was tailored around the 5 themes of ORGNL.TV – Art, Fashion, Music, Tech & Taste.
My favourite was definitely the “Taste Maker”. A fruity and fresh cocktail that was all about the tropics. To tee up a Taste Maker? “Pineapple and passion fruit, Aperol liquor, fresh lime and Stolichnaya Premium Vodka, garnished with a pineapple triangle“.

Guests were treated to a unique light show by Le Petit Mort and a limited edition fashion gift by designer Limedrop. The 2012 ORGNL.TV art winner, Jake Stollery was also there sharing his unbelievable digital art.
With some amazing partners including inthemix, Russh magazine, The Thousands and Fast Louder onboard, ORGNL.TV will provide us with some regular fresh and quirky content. The Australian version will be similar to the editorial content that has been created by Stoli overseas.
